Please note: not “went to church and prayed to the almighty and asked him for help with my exams“, but “went to church – saw Trev, Val, Sue, Angela etc”
Val was of course my unattainable crush with the sizeable sweater puppies.
Angela was my *ahem* “religious partner” from a year or so before and Trev was one of my best mates.
It’s difficult to imagine I went there for “the word” isn’t it?
