“Cushy” is a very English word.

It means “easy” or “simple”.

Its derivation is actually Army slang. We imperialists stole it from the people of India.

“Khush” is the hindustani world for “pleasant”

For some reason, Londoners (“Cockneys”) generally add a ‘t’ to the word, turning it into “Cushty” or “Kushty”

As in: “This diary entry has been kushty ‘cos I haven’t had to write much
