“Worked all morning. In afternoon went into C.Ford to see Dick – not in – went to Mark P’s – dun a silly tape”

There’s another reference to a “silly tape”.

Much later I became moderately infamous for doing silly compilation tapes – I called them “talkie tapes” where I used extracts from songs to produce jokes about my family and friends.

But I had no idea I was being ‘artistic’ back in 1973 too. I wonder where those tapes went or are now?
