“went to work + found out that I have got different hours. Fri 5-7, Sat 8.30-2.30”

Ah, so I was wrong when I thought I was earning a meagre 15p an hour over at Lancaster & Crooks.

Instead of the 12 hours I thought I was working, I was actually only doing 8 hours labour for my wage of £1.70.

Meaning I was actually employed for 21½p (32¢) an hour.

THAT’s a bit more more like it. Isn’t it?
