“35 days. new set batts. 18p”

My fixation continues as I maintain these detailed records of how long the batteries in my tape recorder lasted.

I wonder if there are similarly anal-retentive kids in 2008 keeping a daily diary with an entry saying “Battery in i-Pod crapped out. Had to have Dad send it back to Apple for replacement at a cost of $90. Bummer“?

At least back then all I had to do was walk down the local garage (where else do you expect batteries to be sold? *heh*) and pick up 4 new non-brand fatties for my Sanyo.
